"Jobs"
Last week I had a chance to see Jobs, the new movie about Steve Jobs that covers the beginnings of Apple up to the release of the iPod. I think that I might be a little too familiar with his life, since reading and listening to Steve Jobs by Walter Isaacson, plus I’ve read several other books about him and Apple. So as I watched the movie I felt that it missed a few parts of his life, or barely explained them at all. It also shows the ugly side of Steve, but failed to convey that he didn’t feel that he would have a long life, and he wanted to make a difference. He didn’t tolerate B work, he wanted only A players, and then he would push them to their limits. But the movie did capture the hope and inspriation that was a part of Apple.

I hear there’s another movie about Jobs that’s coming out, this one is being consulted on by Woz. So I would love to see that one too. For all it’s flaws, Jobs was a good movie, one I’d love to have in my DVD collection.
