On Tuesday Total War II: Rome was released. Some love it, others hate it, but with the help of a mod that was release from the community I’ve have a lot of fun with it. Like a lot of the Total War games that have come before it, it’s broken into two section. An overhead map, and then smaller battles that take place with you commanding the troops. I’m not a big fan of handling all that real-time tactical stuff, so I mostly play in the overhead map mode and let the computer decide the outcomes of the battles. Of course I believe in superior manpower. Gotta crush them the first time.

Besides that I’m finishing up the Battlestar Galactica series. It’s turning out to be really good, I’m glad I got the DVD collection. You don’t have to deal with commercials, I have a great picture (no torrents), and I’ll be able to watch them again in a few years. I love having T.V. series around the place. I don’t have cable anymore, so it’s cool to be able to watch a few things.
