"Big Lu"
Big Lu stop by for a few days from New York and it was great to see him again:) We got a chance to hang out listening to this is corrosion and catching up on old times. I showed him a lot of the things I've done over the past year with programming and video, but he wanted to take my music with him. He was saying that the stuff would go over great in the goth clubs and to cut him a disk of some of the stuff I created. Well to tell you the truth, most of that stuff is just scratch track vocals and not copywritten. But I am impressed that he liked it with just scratch tracks. So right now I'm trying to get all the vocals cleaned up with Kevin, and then I'm filing for the copyright. Soon you might be able to access a track or two from the whole project.

"Inform"
Well I've finally done something I've always wanted to do since I first started writing computer games back in the early 80's. I've started writing my own Infocom type of text adventure using a language called Inform. When I first started playing Sorcerer back in '84 I had already been programming some pretty simple games using Apple II's Basic. I looked at Sorcerer with it's vivid writting, seeing how it handled nouns and verbs, and thought, if only I could do that. Now I finally have. So far, it's a pretty straight forward design being programmed once again in the Science-Fiction category, but drawing on other pieces drama that I think will fit well into the story. The working title is Across The Stars, and when it's done you'll be able to play the game through a web browser using the zmpp applet due to the wonders of java. Wow, the technology we have is amazing. I know this is just one of many side projects, and might not get much time put into it, but this is something I've always wanted to do since I really started taking programming seriously. So I know it'll get done. :)

'Til then - D

"Panasonic"
Yes! We have finally done it. Infodarkness finally has a Panasonic AG-DVX100B! A great MiniDV 24p 3-CCD camera that can be used to shoot the type of movies that we want to do. We have a few scripts in the works and are looking at shooting our first short sometime this summer. The idea I'd like to do is a little dark and twisted, and if it gets the green light you should see it up here by fall. It does take time to score the thing. :)

So we are all excited about our new baby, and hopefully you'll see a new section on the site soon, Movies. A place dedicated to the shorts that we are putting together, giving you one more place to waste your time. :)

Besides that, I've started to render the next video project which overall will take a long time. I will try to knock out a little bit each week, so hopefully it won't take too long to get the next video out. Just a hazard when doing this type of video I guess.

Well, hopefully you'll start to see some better things coming out of here - D
